The Osceola School District Achieves Another Historic High District Grade and Celebrates School Grade Gains for the 2025-2026 School Year

The Osceola School District has again achieved new achievement heights in its history for the 2025–2026 school year and was one-tenth of one percentage point away from achieving an 'A,' a milestone that reflects significant academic progress across the district.
On Wednesday, the Florida Department of Education released its annual district and school grades. School performance is assessed across five key components that measure student success: overall achievement, learning gains, graduation rates, acceleration opportunities, and support for students with the greatest needs. Osceola’s results show meaningful growth in each of these areas, underscoring the district’s commitment to elevating student outcomes.
Here are some highlights from the 2025-2026 school year:
- 26 schools earned an 'A' rating, with 20 of those being district public schools and six being charter schools
- 23 schools earned a 'B' rating, with 18 of those being public schools and five being charter schools
- 20 schools increased by at least one letter grade, with 18 of those being public schools and two being charter schools
- East Lake Elementary School, Lakeview Elementary School, and BridgePrep Academy of St. Cloud all increased from a 'C' to an 'A'
- The district's overall grade increased from 62% of the total points to 64% of the total points.
